How Howard works

Your home is complicated.
Howard keeps track of all of it.

Most people have no single place where their home's history lives — what was done, what's overdue, what's actually urgent. Howard builds that record and stays on top of it.

01
Howard reads everything you give him
Survey, EPC, gas cert, building regs, photos of your boiler. He extracts everything useful — model numbers, service history, defect flags — and builds your home's record from it.
02
He tells you what actually matters — and what doesn't
A Level 3 survey has 60+ observations. Most are normal for the age of the property. Howard separates the ones you need to act on from the ones the surveyor had to mention but you can ignore.
03
Then he stays on it — you don't have to remember anything
Boiler service due. Guttering before winter. That survey flag you haven't sorted yet. Howard surfaces the right thing at the right time — and makes it easy to act on it.
04
He connects you with the right people to get it fixed
Howard works with trusted, vetted tradespeople. When something needs doing, he briefs the job from everything he knows about your home — no forms, no repeating yourself. Just sorted.
Ask Howard anything

Got a home question right now?

Most homeowners Google things and get forum threads, conflicting advice, and a lot of worry. Howard gives you a calm, specific answer — based on what he knows about your home.

“Is damp on my ceiling serious?”
“What does Category 2 mean on my home survey?”
“My boiler is making a banging noise when it fires up”
“Do I need to fix my pointing before winter?”
“How often should gutters be cleaned?”

Your home, understood
Is damp on my ceiling serious?
It depends on what’s directly above that room. Below a bathroom, flat roof, or external wall — treat it as urgent. Water ingress gets worse quickly and the repair cost scales with how long it’s left. If it’s an interior room with good ventilation and no water source above, it’s more likely condensation — real but less urgent. Tell me which room and I can give you a precise read on whether to act now or watch it.

Got a survey sitting in your inbox?

Home buyer reports are written for solicitors, not homeowners. The average Level 3 survey has 60+ observations in language most buyers can’t parse — and most people never act on a single thing in it.

Howard reads your survey in under 2 minutes. He tells you the three things that actually need doing, the five things you can safely ignore, and the one thing the surveyor buried in section 6.1.3 that you really should know about.
